'LightsOut' Blows Out Competition

"StrikeOut LightsOut" is our Tuesday Night Bowling champion after winning an incredibly close game in the championship. Despite dominating through the regular season their opponent for the championship brought everything they could and fell just a mere two pins shy of winning the title themselves.

Taking on our eventual champs last night was "3 D's and P", a squad that had their ups and downs through the season including a 4-0 loss to their championship opponent. It was a much different matchup this time around both teams trading blows throughout the night.

In the championship game "3 D's and a P" would stun "StrikeOut LightsOut" with a great win in game one after bowling 40 pins above their average. That, mixed with "StrikeOut's" struggles in their first game, led to the win.

In game two it was pretty much a role reversal with Shara, Chris, and Greg all having much stronger games. On the other end three of the players from "3 D's and a P" had a drop in scores. With the final score 1-1 the tie was decided on final pin count where "StrikeOut LightsOut" was able to squeeze by in the narrowest of margins with 1516 pins, just two more than "3 D's and a P". Maybe it was just their night, but either way they are the champions once again!

Congrats to "StrikeOut LightsOut" on yet another great season in our bowling league!
