Bag It Up

"D-Bagz" are our Wednesday Night Cornhole league champions for the second time in as many season after defending their title yesterday evening. Entering the night as the second seed the "D-Bagz" were one of two favorites to win the title.

Our eventual champions got the night started off right by taking game one in their match against "Unprotected Sacks" and never looked back. They would go on to sweep 3-0 to move onto the championship round, ready to defend their title from last season.

On the other side of the bracket the top-ranked "Corndogs" put up more of a fight, but ultimately lost in a great upset victory for "Hoosiers". The loss for "Corndogs" meant one of those favorites had been knocked out early leaving the door wide open for "D-Bagz".

"The D-Bagz" didn't make it easy on themselves, however, as the "Hoosiers" started the championship game strong by taking the first game. From there wins were traded back and forth. For a moment it seemed like "Hoosiers" had it locked down in game four, but an amazing comeback by the "D-Bags" forced a game five.

In the end it was the "D-Bags" who were able to close the door in the final game on the "Hoosiers" and the rest of the league, securing their second straight Wednesday night championship. Congrats to them on the back-to-back championships, and we can't wait to see if they can make it three in a row next season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
