So Fine

"Republic's Finest" is our Thursday soccer champion, defeating "Plan B" in a thrilling 2-1 victory. The win marks a tremendous win over the perennial contender.

Throughout the season "Republic's Finest" was a bit inconsistent, but they put it all together for the playoffs. In their first playoff game they took on "Squad F.C", cruising to a 5-2 win. In the regular season each team beat the other once, though "Republic's Finest" had the latest win, a 2-0 victory just last week. No doubt carrying over what they learned in that game to their first round match up.

In the championship they took on "Plan B", the clear favorite to win it all at the start of the season. "Republic's Finest" took a huge 5-0 loss to them early in the season, but this time it was different. Hot off their 1st round win, "Republic's Finest" picked up it on the defensive end and help them just one goal. In fact, it was the first time all season "Plan B" was held to under 3 goals and only the second time they allowed 2 goals. Any way you put it, it was an incredible win.

Overall they finish with a 7-3 record along with a +11 point differential.

Congratulations to "Republic's Finest" on the amazing season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
