“Deez Nets” are the Sunday Volleyball Champions of the Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Blockfest Club” 2-1!
“Deez Nets” came into the playoffs as the #3 seed and as one of the favorites to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Blockfest Club” squad before they could be crowned the champions! “Blockfest Club” came out on fire in the first set, and did not allow “Deez Nets” to get anything going. “Blockfest Club” dominated the first game with great serves and amazing team work. They were able to win the first set 21-19 and it looked like no one would be able to stop them, but “Deez Nets” were not going down without a fight. “Deez Nets” came right back in the second set and performed bump, set and spike to perfection. They were able to claim victory in the second match and forced a third and final set. The third set was close until the very end, but “Deez Nets” were just too hot to handle. They took the lead early in the final match and they never looked back from there. “Deez Nets” won the third set 21-14 and became the champions of Sunday Volleyball!
