Cornhole - Fridays (Fall '16)

"Unprotected Sacks" is our Friday Night Cornhole champion, knocking off a number of strong opponents on their way to the top! The win marks their third championship in as many leagues, making them a dominant force to be reckoned with.

Throughout the season "Unprotected Sacks" showed once again why they were the team to beat, making wins the norm. Their lone stumble came to "Corn Beef and Smash", another playoff team who they fell to by the score of 3-1. Other than that it was business as usual, picking up a 5-1-2 record on their way to the #2 seed in the playoffs.

In the playoffs "Unprotected Sacks" knocked off "Control Your Hole" despite a strong showing in the second round. Meanwhile "Quadruple Penetration" took out last year's runner up "Sack to the Future" by the score of 3-2 in their second-round matchup after the bye to set up our championship game.

Just last week these two battled to a 2-2 draw in the final week of the season, so everyone expected a tight one. The champs showed why they were the reigning champs though, winning in a dominant fashion in four games, not even needing a fifth. Unfortunately for "Quadruple Penetration", it just wasn't their night. Instead, the night belonged to "Unprotected Sacks" and their third straight championship!
