“Chewblockas” are the Monday Volleyball Champions of the Spring ‘22 Season, after defeating “Dumpster Cats” 2-0!
“Chewblockas” entered the playoffs as the #2 seed and as one of the favorites to take home the Championship, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Dumpster Cats” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “Chewblockas” was able to come together and force “Dumpster Cats” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-18. “Chewblockas” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Dumpster Cats” played their hearts out, but “Chewblockas” were too hot to handle. “Chewblockas” went on to win the second match 21-17 and was able to take down the top seeded team in the league!
Congratulations to “Chewblockas” on becoming the Monday Volleyball Champions of the Spring ‘22 season and winner of the $50 to Limelight Bar & Grill!
