“Jacks FC” are the Division 3 Champions of the Spring ‘22 season, after defeating “Jr. Flamingos” 4-2!
It was the playoffs for Sunday soccer last night, and it did not disappoint! “Jacks FC” came out on fire in the championship and took an early lead with an impressive goal, but “Jr. Flamingos” came right back and scored an amazing goal of their own and tied the game up at 1-1. Both teams played their hearts out in the first half, and neither of them were backing down from one another. “Jacks FC” came out of halftime determined to score, and that's exactly what they did. “Jacks FC” scored another immaculate goal at the start of the second half and took an early 2-1 lead. “Jr. Flamingos” offense came alive right after “Jacks FC” scored, and continued to apply pressure to “Jacks FC’s” defense. “Jr. Flamingos” scored a goal to tie it up at 2-2 in the second half. It looked like the “Jr. Flamingos” were going to be crowned the champions, but “Jacks FC” had other ideas. “Jacks FC” were able to score two more goals late in the second half to take the lead, and they never looked back from there!
