Soccer - Friday Coed & Open Divisions (Fall '24)

“Beam Team” are the Friday Coed Soccer Champions of the Fall ‘24 season, after defeating “911” 5-3!

“Beam team” came into the playoffs as one of the favorites to take home the title. Their incredible offense is why they finished as one of the top teams in their division, but their impressive defense and amazing teamwork was the reason why they made it to the finals. The championship started off evenly matched with neither team being able to pull away from the other, but everything changed once “Beam Team” scored an unbelievable goal midway through the first half. “911” kept applying pressure to “Beam Team’s” defense, but “Beam Team” stayed strong and did not allow them to get anything going on the offensive end. The second half started off as a defensive battle until “911” scored a goal of their own to tie it up. It looked like the championship was up for grabs, but “Beam Team” turned up the heat and scored two more goals to take a commanding 5-3 lead. “911” played their hearts out but “Beam Team” was too hot to handle!
