Volleyball - Beginner Mondays (Summer '25)

Set it Off won the volleyball Championship at Turn Verein Monday with a smashing 2-0 victory over the Fairly Odd Blockers in the Championship. Starting the night as the #3 seeded team following a 6-2 regular season record, Set it Off first won an upset victory against the #2 seeded Hitters Gonna Hit in a gnarling 2-1 triumph.

This championship victory comes on the heels of a 1-2 start to the season in the first 3 weeks. But after the slow start Set it Off proceeded to win their final 5 games of the regular season to reach the playoffs and then kept up their run of streaky play to grab the title.

The Fairly odd Blockers put themselves in position to steal a title win after starting the night all the way out in the quarterfinals against Good Volleybrations, who they beat 2-1. They then went on to shock the #1 seeded Street Meats 2-1 as well in a surprising upset victory. However, their dreams of a Cinderella championship story fell just short as they found themselves exhausted after having to play full sets in the first 2 games of the night and fell to Set it Off 2-0.
