*ROCKLIN* Party Pickleball - Thursdays (Late Spring '26)

The Thursday Party Pickleball season at Twin Oaks Park was a showcase of consistency, competition, and plenty of fun along the way. From Bring a Friend week and Theme Night, teams battled through six weeks of regular season action before turning their attention to the playoffs.

No team was more consistent throughout the season than the Line Cooks. They opened the year with a 9-3 victory over Out of Bounds and never looked back. Over six regular season matchups, the Line Cooks compiled an impressive 7-0-1 record, earning victories over every team in the division while only being held to a draw once. Their closest call came on Theme Night when Out of Bounds battled them to a 6-6 tie, but otherwise the Line Cooks controlled the standings from start to finish.

The rest of the field spent the season jockeying for playoff position. Team B and Out of Bounds each picked up key wins throughout the year, while Swinging Minchia's showed flashes of brilliance and earned victories over both Team B and Out of Bounds. By season's end, however, the standings reflected what everyone had seen for weeks: the Line Cooks were the team to beat.

When the playoffs arrived, the top seed received a helping hand as their semifinal matchup against #4 Swinging Minchia's was decided by forfeit, sending the Line Cooks straight into the championship match. Meanwhile, #2 Team B and #3 Out of Bounds squared off in a tightly contested semifinal. Out of Bounds emerged with a narrow 5-4 victory in the best of nine format, punching their ticket to the finals and setting up a showdown against the regular season leaders.

The championship match featured the league's top seed against a surging Out of Bounds squad, but the Line Cooks had been building toward this moment all season long. After dominating the regular season and earning the number one seed, they delivered one final statement in the title match, defeating Out of Bounds 7-2 to secure the championship.

A near perfect regular season. The number one seed. A championship trophy. The Line Cooks left little doubt about who the best team in Thursday Party Pickleball was this season, completing one of the most impressive campaigns Twin Oaks Park has seen and turning a dominant regular season into a well deserved championship.
