Death, Taxes, and "Quit Your Pitching"

"Quit Your Pitching" is our champion, once again proving they are THE team to beat on Monday nights. While they may have entered the playoffs as the #3 seed, they were still considered the title favorite. They didn't disappoint either, taking out "Outside Bag" 13-3 in the league final.

Unlike in past seasons "Quit Your Pitching" faced some ups and downs, including two losses to the #2 team "Full Swing Bunters". The latest loss, just a week ago, was a disheartening 6-1 defeat in which they couldn't get their bats going.

However, "Quit Your Pitching" rose to the occasion for the playoffs, exorcising their demons by defeating them in a convincing 10-1 win. From there it was smooth sailing, despite facing another tough opponent in "Outside Bag". In total our champs would outscore 23-4 in their two playoff games. Talk about an on and off switch!

Congratulations to "Quit Your Pitching" on another league title! At this point, it seems like they're never going to be beat!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
