Gettin' 'Tip'-sy

"Just the Tip" is our Thursday Volleyball champion, fighting tooth and nail all night to make it to the top!

After getting blown out in their first set against the #1 team "Inglorious Passers" 21-9, "Just the Tip" came back with a 21-16 win. They rode the high from that win to take 21-12 win in the deciding third set, knocking the top team out of the playoffs!

In the league championship against "Goon Squad" "Just the Tip" stayed red hot! A tight 21-17 win in the first set put the "Goon Squad" on edge and they would never recover. Our champs closed things out in the second set, winning 21-14 and shutting the door on their season.

Overall "Just the Tip" finishes with a 6-4 record, but more impressively a +9 point differential. That puts them second in the league to only the "Smokin' Aces", a team who was knocked out by "Goon Squad" in the other semifinal matchup.

Congratulations to "Just the Tip" on the title win!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.

When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
