“Dirty Tips” are the Sunday Volleyball Champions of the Fall ‘22 Season, after defeating “The Hotties” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Sunday volleyball last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Dirty Tips” and “The Hotties” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “The Hotties” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game and won 21-16. It looked like “The Hotties” were going to be crowned the champions after the second game, but “Dirty Tips” had other ideas for game two. “Dirty Tips” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game 21-14 with their amazing teamwork! It was all tied up after the first two games between these two heavy weights, so it all came down to the third and final set. “Dirty Tips” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “The Hotties” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Dirty Tips” were able to find a groove late in the third game and won 21-19 to become the champions of Sunday Volleyball!
