“Kitchen Cleaners” are the Tuesday Pickleball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Too Many Cooks” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Tuesday Pickleballl last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Kitchen Cleaners” and “Too Many Cooks” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Kitchen Cleaners” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game of the match and took an early 1-0 lead in the championship. It looked like “Kitchen Cleaners” was going to be crowned the champions after the second game, but “Too Many Cooks” had other ideas for game two. “Too Many Cooks” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the third and final match. “Kitchen Cleaners” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “Too Many Cooks” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Kitchen Cleaners” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won the match to become the champions of Tuesday Pickleball!
