Join other Xoso players in volunteering for a Parkway Clean-Up in Sacramento. This event is hosted by "America River Parkway Foundation" (ARPF).
Join us on the American River for an on-water clean-up starting at Sunrise and ending at River Bend. ARPF is partnering with American River Raft Rentals to raft down the river picking up trash and pulling invasive plants.
Please arrive by 8:00AM to sign in and receive a safety briefing. We will head out by 8:15AM and plan to make it to the end of the route by 12:30pm. Rafters, kayakers, canoers, scuba divers, etc. are invited! If you don't have a pick up plan you can use American River Raft Rentals shuttle service back to Sunrise by 1:00pm. Everyone registering through this link will have a spot on an ARRR raft reserved for them, if you plan on bringing your own boat or scuba-ing please let the volunteer coordinator know at volunteer@arpf.org.

ARPF provides trash bags, gloves, free volunteer parking pass, water, and a light snack.
What to wear: **PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE** (we will have extra if you don't bring your own,) clothes appropriate for boating, comfortable shoes/sandals, sunhat, long pants, long-sleeves, gloves, sunscreen, & bug spray.
What to bring: Water! Take breaks & learn the signs of heat exhaustion. If you want a trash grabber please bring your own.
