The Sunday Intermediate Volleyball playoffs wrapped up with an exciting finish at Turn Verein, and the action did not disappoint! All five qualifying teams brought their best energy and competition to the bracket, but it was #3 seed Blockfast Club who pushed through a gauntlet of tough matchups to earn the championship title.
The day started with a quarterfinal matchup between #4 Hit Happens and #5 Blaire Hits Project, where Blaire Hits Project pulled off a close win to advance, 2–1. They moved on to face the top-seeded ACE-Inhibitors in the semifinals, who came in hot and swept Blaire Hits Project 2–0 to secure their spot in the finals.
Meanwhile, over on the other side of the bracket, the semifinal between #2 LŌKAHI and #3 Blockfast Club was a hard-fought battle. Blockfast Club edged out LŌKAHI 2–1 in a thrilling match, displaying their signature teamwork, smart playmaking, and consistent effort at the net.
That win sent Blockfast Club into the finals against the #1 seed ACE-Inhibitors, and it was a showdown worthy of a championship. Both teams pushed through long rallies and high-stakes moments, but Blockfast’s stellar communication, triple blocks, and aggressive hitting ultimately led them to a 2–1 victory. Their ability to maintain focus and stamina throughout the day was impressive—and it paid off.
Huge congratulations to Blockfast Club for taking the title! As the #3 seed, they fought their way through two tough opponents and came out on top with heart, hustle, and well-earned hardware.
