With strong regular season form behind them, Bots came into the semifinals focused and handled business against the #4 seeded Team Boss Ballers with a clean 2-0 victory to move one step closer to the title.
On the other side of the bracket, the #2 seeded Team B and #3 seeded #beamteam delivered the most competitive matchup of the night. Team B survived the challenge in a hard fought three-game battle, taking the series 2-1 to punch their ticket to the championship game. That set up a showdown between the top two seeds with everything on the line.
In the finals, Bots showed exactly why they earned the top spot all season long. They took the opening game 21-17, then turned up the pressure in game two to secure the championship with a decisive 21-11 win. With a perfect playoff run and back to back wins in the finals, the #1 seeded Bots officially captured the Thursday night basketball crown.
