"Val's Pals" is our Division 2 champion thanks to a dominating performance all season long. They finished with a nearly unbeaten record at 8-1-1. Their lone loss came in the first game of the season at the hands of "Phoenix FC". Besides that though, they were pretty much the better team in every game they played.
Overall they ended with a +31 point differential, well beyond that of anyone else this season. Offensively they were on point, scoring five or more goals in 8 of their 10 games this season.
A portion of that differential is also thanks in part to a +9 through their playoff games, cruising through a tough bracket with ease. They defeated "Republic's Finest" by a 5-1 margin in the first game, followed by a 7-2 shellacking in the championship. Again, pure dominance.
Congratulations to "Val's Pals" on a nearly perfect season!
