Curds and Whey" are the Ultimate Champions for this season, defeating "Gray Matters" 12-11 in a thrilling championship game!
"Curds and Whey" entered the playoffs as the #2 seed, looking to upset a heavily favored #1 seed in "Gray Matters" that has been dominant all season long. "Curds and Whey" previously lost two games to "Gray Matters", both by a score of 10-11, and were looking for redemption. On the other hand "Gray Matters" were on a 6-game winning streak and looked to remain on top.
The final match up between "Curds and Whey" and "Gray Matters" was inevitable and it did not disappoint. At half time "Gray Matters" lead by a comfortable lead of 11-7, with all signs pointing to another win in their favor. However, "Curds and Whey" were resilient and knew what it would take to upset the #1 seed. They came back with a vengeance, picking up 4 scores to none for "Gray Matters", tying the game at 11-11 with 2 minutes left! The end of the game came down to the final point, and "Curds and Whey" were able to pull it off and score it for the win!
