"Can You Dig It" is our Friday volleyball champion!
After losing to "Gin and Juice" earlier in the night, "Can You Dig It" dug deep to avenge their loss with a 2-1 championship win! They fell behind after losing the first set 21-15, but roared back to win the second set 21-13. Things got tense in the last and final set, but our champs powered through, winning the third set 21-18 to take the league title!
Overall the win caps a 7-2 record, topping the league by two wins. "Can You Dig It" also finished with a +10 differential, ending the season as the only team with a positive differential.
All this to say they were clearly the best team this season. Even after both their losses, one each to "Gin and Juice" and "Notorious D.I.G.", they followed them with strong wins. One of those which was the league title. "Can You Dig It" even mixed in a 4-game winning streak through the middle of the season, a spot in the schedule where top teams tend to slouch.
Congratulations to "Can You Dig It" on the incredible season!
