“Spike’s Hard Lemonade” are the Wednesday Sand Volleyball Champions of the Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Volley Partons” 2-1!

It was the playoffs for Wednesday Sand Volleyball last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Spike’s Hard Lemonade” and “Volley Partons” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Volley Partons” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game and won 21-17. It looked like “Volley Partons” was going to be crowned the champions after the second game, but “Spike’s Hard Lemonade” had other ideas for game two. “Spike’s Hard Lemonade” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game 21-19 with their amazing teamwork! It was all tied up after two games between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the third and final match. “Spike’s Hard Lemonade” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “Volley Partons” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Spike’s Hard Lemonade” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won 21-14 to become the champions of Wednesday Sand Volleyball!
