Kickball - Sundays (Late Spring '23)

“Combat Squirrels” are the Midtown Kickball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Toe Jammers” 15-10!

It was the playoffs for our Sunday kickball league last night and it did not disappoint. The “Combat Squirrels” and “Toe Jammers” battled it out in the championship and it was a match to remember. Both of these two talented teams faced each other during the regular season and the “Toe Jammers” walked away with the victory, so the “Combat Squirrels” were eager to exact their revenge and claim their bragging rights as the champions of the league. The championship started out very evenly matched, but “Combat Squirrels” came out on fire in the second inning and scored a few runs to take the lead. “Combat Squirrels” were firing on all cylinders on offense, but their defense was the real MVP during the championship. “Toe Jammers” were able to score a few runs of their own and kept the game close in the last two innings, but too much damage had already been done. “Combat Squirrels” proved to everyone that they are the best team in the league by winning the championship 15-10!
