“Leave to Serve” are the Friday Volleyball Champions of the Winter ‘24 Season, after defeating “Notorious D.I.G.” 2-0!
"Leave to Serve”" entered the playoffs with an undefeated record, and looked to keep that undefeated streak into the Championship, but “Notorious D.I.G.” did not make it easy for them. “Notorious D.I.G.” scored four straight points to start off the championship, convincing everyone that they would continue their dominance from their semi final match. But everything changed once “Leave to Serve” scored their first point. “Leave to Serve” used bump, set and spike to perfection and rattled off 7 points in a row. Once they took the lead, they never looked back! “Leave to Serve” dominated the first game with a score of 21-13 and continued their hot streak into the second game. Game two was much more competitive. “Notorious D.I.G.” played very well and showed off their power at the net, but “Leave to Serve” was too hot to handle. The second game came down to the wire, but “Leave to Serve” was able to squeak by and win 21-17 to claim the championship!
