“Bumping Uglies” are the Friday Beginner Volleyball Champions of the Winter ‘25 Season, after defeating “Team 4 U” 2-0!
“Bumping Uglies” entered the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the Championship but they had to defeat a very formidable “Team 4 U” squad before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. “Bumping Uglies” was able to come together and force “Team 4 U” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-16. “Bumping Uglies” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Team 4 U” played their hearts out but “Bumping Uglies” was too hot to handle. “Bumping Uglies” went on to win the second match 21-18 and became the champions of the Friday Beginner Volleyball league!
