The Pickleball Beginner I Playoffs brought intense competition, unexpected upsets, and a championship match that kept everyone fighting till the end! With Cookin in the Kitchen and In a Pickle earning byes in the quarterfinals, the action kicked off with Kitchen Cleaners dominating Pickleball Peeps in a 3-0 sweep. This victory set up a semifinal showdown between Kitchen Cleaners and top-seeded Cookin in the Kitchen, where the underdog Kitchen Cleaners pulled off an impressive 2-0 win, securing their spot in the finals without needing a third match. On the other side of the bracket, Dinkin’ Doughnuts delivered a flawless 3-0 victory over The Real Picklebacks in the quarterfinals. Their momentum carried into the semifinals against In a Pickle, where they pushed the match to the limit. However, In a Pickle held strong, closing out a 2-1 win to advance to the championship. The finals saw the fourth-seeded Kitchen Cleaners taking on the second-seeded In a Pickle in an intense battle for the title in the pouring rain. The Kitchen Cleaners put up a strong fight, but In a Pickle emerged victorious with a 2-1 win, securing the championship and proving their resilience throughout the playoffs.
