Bowling - Thursdays (Spring '25)

It was Position Week in the Thursday Night Bowling League, and the lanes were on fire as the top two teams—Spare Ribs and Pints & Pins—squared off in a championship showdown that lived up to the hype.

With 15 total points up for grabs across three games, every frame mattered. Game 1 saw Spare Ribs come out strong, claiming 4 points to Pints & Pins' 1, setting the tone early. In Game 2, both teams dug in, splitting the round 3–2. That brought the total to 7–3 in favor of Spare Ribs heading into the final game.

But Game 3 was nothing short of electric.

Pints & Pins fought back hard, determined not to go quietly. They took 4 out of 5 points in the final game—but it wasn’t quite enough. Spare Ribs clung to a single, crucial point—won by just 20 pins—which gave them the edge, 8–7 overall, and sealed the championship win.

In a true show of grit, Ian of Spare Ribs powered through despite battling an injury, showing up for his team when it mattered most. And while Pints & Pins came up just short, they proved why they belonged in the final, pushing the champs to the very last pin.
