What a night to close out the Thursday night bowling league! Our top two teams, Spare Ribs and Pinheads, faced off in a championship showdown that came down to skill, consistency, and a whole lot of high fives.
Spare Ribs came out hot, taking the first two games with confident wins (3-2 in Game 1 and a clean 5-0 sweep in Game 2). Behind strong performances from Damien (171 & 165), Ian (162 & 137), and Brianna (clutch 161 in Game 3), Spare Ribs built a commanding lead that Pinheads couldn’t quite close.
Pinheads rallied in Game 3, with Carl throwing a team-high 152 and Brian and Scott putting up consistent numbers to grab a 4-1 win and avoid the sweep. But the comeback wasn’t enough — Spare Ribs held on for a 9-6 overall victory and claimed the championship title!
