It was a night full of intense action and competitive game play Wednesday as the Volley Maulers emerged victorious in the Championship game 2-0 over Set & Bang. The Volley Maulers opened the night with a tight 2-1 victory over Chewblockas, who fell just short of the win in spite of a spirited team effort. The Volley Maulers faced down the #2 seeded Set & Bang and secured their own 2-1 semi-final victory over Blockamole to set up the title game.
The championship victory for Volley Maulers follows an excellent 7-1 regular season. They were able to avenge their sole defeat in regular season play against Set & Bang by securing the win in the final matchup, clinching the title by winning both of the first two sets.
