"Team Captain" is our Monday cornhole champion, finishing with a 6-2-2 record on the season. From the get-go they established themselves as one of the league's top teams, going undefeated in their first 5 games. It looked to be smooth sailing ahead. However, they hit a short two game losing streak after that. Fortunately that didn't last long though, with "Team Captain" recovering in time for the playoffs.
When the playoffs rolled around it was all business for "Team Captain". In first round they took out "Baballers" by the score of 3-1, before knocking out the "Underdogs" 3-1 in the championship. There would be no underdog story here tonight.
Congratulations to "Team Captain" on the fantastic season as an indy team coming together to win the title. Winning championships is tough enough, making their feat even more special. Well done!
