The Monday Party Pickleball league came to an exciting close after a fun and competitive season at Elks Lodge. With a strong 7–1 record, Carpe Dink’em earned the #1 seed heading into playoffs and looked like the team to beat. Right behind them was The Slice is Right, finishing 6–2 and showing consistent play throughout the season. The #3 seed, Effers, finished with a solid 5–3 record, while DINKIN DIVAS claimed the #4 spot at 4–4, showing improvement as the season progressed. Rounding out the bracket were Pickle Me Elmo and Rise & Brine, who entered playoffs as underdogs with just one and zero wins, respectively.
In the quarterfinals, the DINKIN DIVAS and Pickle Me Elmo battled in a close 4 vs. 5 matchup, with the Divas narrowly coming out on top, 5–4. Meanwhile, Effers dominated Rise & Brine with a decisive 9–0 victory, showing why they were a top-three seed all season. Moving into the semifinals, Carpe Dink’em continued their dominance, beating DINKIN DIVAS 8–1, while the #2 and #3 seeds—The Slice is Right and Effers—went head-to-head in a more evenly matched game. The Slice is Right pulled ahead late to take the win, 6–3, and earned their spot in the finals.
The championship showdown between Carpe Dink’em and The Slice is Right lived up to the hype. In a tight, back-and-forth match, it was The Slice is Right who came out on top, clinching the title with a 5–4 win. Their strong playoff performance capped off an impressive season and showed that consistency and grit can take you all the way.
