The "Udder Cutters" are our latest Ultimate champions, defeating the "Banana Hammers" in a tightly contested 14-12 win.
The two had previously met early in the season, with the "Udder Cutters" squeaking out a 10-9 win. Due to that result, many were expecting another close contest.
Overall the "Udder Cutters" finish with a perfect 8-0 record, mixing in huge wins and nail-biters. But their real strength was their offense, which was never held below double-digit points all season. Their lowest total, 10, still came in that win over the 2nd best team all season in the "Banana Hammers".
Thanks to that incredible offense and some fantastic defense as well, our champions finished with a +48 point differential. That doubles the "Banana Hammers", who finish with a +22. Clearly the "Udder Cutters" were the best team this season, and their win was well-deserved.
