"AC City FC" are the Coed Friday Soccer Champions for the Late Spring ‘21 Season, after defeating “Children of the Mist ” 3-1!
“AC City FC” was able to make it into the playoffs as the sixth seed. The Coed Division was very competitive this season and no one knew who would win the championship, let alone make it to the playoffs. “AC City FC” won their last three games of the season to make it in as the sixth seed, which meant their team was already in playoff form. “AC City FC” played two amazing games back-to-back in first two rounds and was able to advance to the championship.
“AC City FC’ made an incredible run to the championship and it didn’t look like they could be stopped. But the #1 seed, “Children of the Mist”, were a very formidable team and they did not make it easy for “AC City FC”. Both teams played very well in the championship, and neither team was backing down. It was tied at half and no one knew who was going to take home the title. “AC City FC” came out of halftime on fire and controlled the second half the whole time. “AC City FC” was able to score two more goals and win the game 3-1!

“The Misfits” and the “Hooligans” were set to meet in the championship! Both teams had the same record at the end of the regular season, and neither of them were going to let the other team claim the title without a fight. The game started off as a chess match, and it looked like it was going to be close the whole time. “The Misfits” broke the tie when they scored near the end of the half and they never looked back from there. “The Misfits” played an incredible game and won 5-0!
