“Ace Holes” are the Wednesday Volleyball Champions of the Fall ‘22 Season, after defeating “That’s What She Set” 2-1!
“Ace Holes” entered the playoffs with an undefeated record and they planned to stay that way after the Championship, but they had to defeat a very formidable “That’s What She Set” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “Ace Holes” were able to come together and force “That’s What She Set” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 23-22. It looked like “Ace Holes” were going to continue their dominance into the second set, but “That’s What She Set” performed bump, set and spike to perfection and pulled out the victory in the second set winning 21-17 and forcing a third and final match. The final set started out as a nail biter until “Ace Holes” rattled off a few points in a row to take a commanding lead. “That’s What She Set” played their hearts out, but “Ace Holes” were just too hot to handle. “Ace Holes” went on to win the final match 21-17 claiming the championship and finishing the season undefeated!
