“Mean Girls” are the Friday Volleyball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Block Party” 2-0!
“Mean Girls” came into the playoffs as the #2 seed and as one of the heavy favorites to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Block Party” squad before they could be crowned the champions! “Mean Girls” came out on fire in the first set, and did not allow “Block Party” to get anything going. “Mean Girls” won the first game 22-20, because of their impressive serves and amazing team work. “Mean Girls” also took an early lead in the second match and they never looked back from there. “Mean Girls” won the second set 21-19 and became the champions of Friday Volleyball by performing bump, set and spike to perfection!
