“The Volley Llamas” are the Wednesday Sand Volleyball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Notorious D.I.G” 2-0!
“The Volley Llamas” entered the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the Championship, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Notorious D.I.G” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “The Volley Llamas” was able to come together and force “Notorious D.I.G” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-11. “The Volley Llamas” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Notorious D.I.G” played their hearts out, but “Not Sure” was too hot to handle. “The Volley Llamas” went on to win the second match 21-18 and won the Thursday Volleyball championship!
