With two fiercely contested semifinal matchups behind them, excitement peaked as the championship showdown unfolded between the #2 seed "SAC Attack" and the formidable #4 seed, "Pickleball Pandas."
From the outset, "SAC Attack" demonstrated their undeniable prowess, seizing an early lead in the opening game and maintaining their dominance throughout the match. But “Pickleball Pandas” has overcame and won the second match.Despite "Pickleball Pandas's" determined effort to redeem and finish the third set with a win. "SAC Attack”where more hungry for the title. “Los Pepinos” are the Tuesday Pickleball Champions of the Winter ‘24 Season, after defeating “Undrafted” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Tuesday Pickleballl last night and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Los Pepinos” and “Undrafted” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Los Pepinos” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game of the match and took an early 1-0 lead in the championship. It looked like “Los Pepinos” were going to be crowned the champions after the second game, but “Undrafted” had other ideas for game two. “Undrafted” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the third and final match. “Los Pepinos” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “Undrafted” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Los Pepinos” were able to find a groove late in the third game and won the match to become the champions of Tuesday Pickleball!
