“Baby Got Backhand” are the Thursday Beginner Pickleball Champions of the Spring ‘24 Season, after defeating “Revive Landscaping” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Thursday Pickleballl last night and everyone was excited to see who would become champions! “Baby Got Backhand” and “Revive Landscaping” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Baby Got Backhand” came out determined to win the first game of the match and that’s exactly what they did. It looked like “Baby Got Backhand” was going to be crowned the champions after the second game but “Revive Landscaping” was not going down without a fight. “Revive Landscaping” put on their game face and served the ball like they were playing in the US Open for the second match. Not one foot touched the kitchen in game two and “Revive Landscaping” proved they deserved to be in the championship with an impressive victory! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights and it all came down to the third and final match. “Baby Got Backhand” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible teamwork but “Revive Landscaping” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Baby Got Backhand” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won the match and became the champions of Thursday Pickleball!

“Super Smash Bros” are the Thursday Intermediate Pickleball Champions of the Spring ‘24 Season, after defeating “Hold My Dink” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Thursday Pickleballl last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Super Smash Bros” and “Hold My Dink” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Super Smash Bros” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game of the match and took an early 1-0 lead in the championship. It looked like “Super Smash Bros” were going to be crowned the champions after the second game but “Hold My Dink” had other ideas for game two. “Hold My Dink” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights and it all came down to the third and final match. “Super Smash Bros” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “Hold My Dink” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Super Smash Bros” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won the match and became the champions of Thursday Pickleball!
