Last night we wrapped up our Monday night pickleball league at the Elks Lodge. A week ago, our #1 seed, the Washed Pickles, defeated the 8 seeded Pickle Me Dink 2-1, moving on to the semi-finals last night.
In the semi-finals, they faced off against the #5 "Hit It", and won 2-0, continuing their undefeated season.
The other semi-final featured Grl Pwr vs Bread and Butter, with Grl Pwr emerging victorious.
The final matchup was a good one, with both teams winning a game and forcing a deciding game three for all the pickles. Washed Pickles storybook season continued, with them vanquishing GRL PWR and winning the Beginner Champion belt. Congrats Washed Pickles on cleaning up all season long!

Last night we finished round two of our Monday pickleball playoffs. Four teams entered the playoffs vying for the title. Unfortunately, the #1 seed had to forfeit last week, bowing out of the bracket with the loss. This left an opening for the #4 seeded Not My Fault to vault themselves into the championship round.
The other semi-final matchup featured our #2 team, Dink Responsibly against the #3 Wet Bandits. Dink Responsibly moved on with a convincing win, setting up a show down against Not My Fault.
Now Dink Responsibly entered the playoffs with a 4-2 record, and Not My Fault had a 1-5 record. Dink Responsibly's only losses were to the #1 seed, Super Smash Bros. With them out of the way, Dink Responsibly had only one thing on their mind (probably, we're guessing here), and that was a title!
They dispatched Not My Fault, winning the championship for our intermediate division. Congrats Dink Responsibly on a great season!
