“TBD” are the Friday Volleyball Champions of the Spring ‘24 Season, after defeating “Boo Cakes” 2-1!
“TBD” came into the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the championship, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Boo Cakes” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Boo Cakes” came out on fire in the first set and did not allow “TBD” to get anything going. “Book Cakes” were able to win the first game 21-9 because of their impressive serves and amazing team work. It looked like “Boo Cakes” were going to win the championship easily but “TBD” did not go down without a fight. “TBD” came out of a timeout determined to win the second game and that’s exactly what they did. “TBD” performed bump, set and spike to perfection and won the second set 21-10. It all came down to the third and final game and no one knew who was going to take home the title. “TBD” took an early lead in the final match but “Boo Cakes” did not let them pull away. The third game was neck and neck all the way till the end but “TBD” was able to finally pull away and win the final match 21-17!
