“Ghost Ride the Flick” are the Ultimate Champions of the Late Spring ‘24 Season, after defeating “Rose-colored passes” 13-11!
"Ghost Ride the Flick" entered the final week as one of the favorites to win the Championship but “Rose-colored passes” did not make it easy for them. These two powerhouse teams met previously during the regular season and that game did not disappoint. Their previous game was an absolute nail biter so everyone was expecting another great battle between these two heavy weights, and that's exactly what they got. The championship started out with both teams playing amazing defense and making great play after great play, but “Ghost Ride the Flick” was finally able to break through the tremendous “Rose-colored passes” defense and scored their first point of the match. “Rose-colored passes” came right back and completed an incredible pass in the endzone and tied it up, but “Ghost Ride the Flick” was unstoppable! “Ghost Ride the Flick” never looked back after their second score and they proved to everyone that they are the champions of our Ultimate Frisbee league!
