“Volley Girlz 💅🏽” are the Thursday Beginner Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘24 Season, after defeating “Artichoke Me” 2-0!

“Volley Girlz 💅🏽” came into the playoffs as the #1 seed and as the heavy favorite to take home the title but they had to defeat a very formidable “Artichoke Me” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Volley Girlz 💅🏽” came out on fire in the first set and did not allow “Block Party” to get anything going. “Volley Girlz 💅🏽” won the first game 21-18 because of their impressive serves and amazing team work. “Volley Girlz 💅🏽” also took an early lead in the second match and they never looked back from there. “Volley Girlz 💅🏽” won the second set 21-11 and became the champions of Thursday Volleyball by performing bump, set and spike to perfection!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.

When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
