“I’m Just Here For Cardio” are the Rocklin Kickball Champions of the Fall ‘24 Season, after defeating “Knut Shot” 10-4!
"I’m Just Here For Cardio" entered the playoffs as one of the heavy favorites to win the championship but "Knut Shot" did not make it easy for them. Both teams displayed their amazing offensive talent all season long, so everyone was expecting another high scoring game. “I’m Just Here For Cardio” came out on fire in the first inning and took a commanding 7-1 lead. It looked like “I’m Just Here For Cardio” were going to dominate the whole game but “Knut Shot” scored three runs in the third inning to keep the game close. The championship was still up for grabs, until “I’m Just Here For Cardio” started to play tremendous defense after the third inning by making incredible plays one after another and preventing “Knut Shot” from scoring any more runs for the rest of the game. It was a hard fought battle, but "I’m Just Here For Cardio" came out on top and won 10-4 finishing as the champions of Sunday Kickball.
