“Los volleyboleros” are the Thursday Beginner Volleyball Champions of the Late Fall ‘24 Season, after defeating “Artichoke Me” 2-0!
“Los volleyboleros” entered the playoffs as one of the heavy favorites to win the Championship but they had to defeat a very formidable “Artichoke Me” squad before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. “Los volleyboleros” were able to come together and force “Artichoke Me” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-19. “Los volleyboleros” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Artichoke Me” played their hearts out but “Los volleyboleros” were too hot to handle. “Los volleyboleros” went on to win the second match 21-19 and became the champions of the Thursday Beginner Volleyball league!
