“Dig by Daylight” are the Friday Volleyball Champions of the Winter ‘25 Season, after defeating “Serves You Right” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Friday volleyball last night and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Dig by Daylight” and “Serves You Right” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Dig by Daylight” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game and won 21-4. It looked like “Dig by Daylight” were going to be crowned the champions after the second game but “Serves You Right” had other ideas for game two. “Serves You Right” changed up their game plan and was able to win the second set 21-18 with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights and it all came down to the third and final game. “Dig by Daylight” took an early lead in the third set with some incredible serves but “Serves You Right” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Dig by Daylight” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won 21-12 to become the champions of Friday Volleyball!
