Well… it wasn’t the most traditional road to the championship, but a winner has been crowned in Sunday Soccer Division 1!
In the first semifinal, #1 seed Shake N Bake took care of business with a 3-1 win over the Benchwarmers, earning their spot in the finals. Meanwhile, Crew FC advanced after a forfeit from Alive & Kickin'.
And just when we thought the stage was set for a big finale… plot twist — the championship also ended in a forfeit, giving Crew FC the title by default. Sometimes soccer keeps us on our toes, even off the field!

Sunday Soccer Division 2 wrapped up with an exciting playoff run featuring the top four teams from the season. The competition was fierce, but in the end, one team came out on top in dominating fashion!
In the first semifinal matchup, #1 seed A-Team faced off against #4 seed Sacramento Magic FC. A-Team showed why they held the top spot all season, putting on an offensive clinic and securing a convincing 6-1 victory to punch their ticket to the finals.
The second semifinal was a much tighter battle between #2 seed Rate Us On The App and #3 seed The Raccoons. Both teams brought the intensity, but Rate Us On The App managed to hold on with a narrow 2-1 win, earning their spot in the championship match.
The finals saw A-Team and Rate Us On The App clash for the Division 2 title. A-Team took control early and never looked back, cruising to a 7-2 win and claiming the championship!
What makes this even more impressive? A-Team was a free agent team, with some players who had never played together before this season — but you wouldn’t have known it watching them on the field. They finished the season undefeated, playing smart, organized soccer week after week, and proved they were the team to beat.
