Our Friday Beginner Volleyball season at Turn Verein wrapped up with an exciting night of playoffs featuring the top four teams. After weeks of fun, competitive matches, it all came down to who could handle the pressure and walk away with the title.
The first semifinal of the night saw the undefeated #1 seed My Kill Is Karma take on #4 seed Team 4 U. My Kill Is Karma came out strong and showed why they held the top spot all season, sweeping the match 2-0 and punching their ticket to the finals.
In the second semifinal, #3 seed Just Get It Over faced off against #2 seed Volliholics, and it turned into a bit of an upset. Just Get It Over found their rhythm early and never looked back, securing a solid 2-0 win to earn their spot in the championship match.
The finals featured an exciting matchup between My Kill Is Karma and Just Get It Over. Both teams had strong seasons and plenty of momentum coming into the final game. Just Get It Over put together some great moments and fought hard to break through My Kill Is Karma’s defense, but in the end, My Kill Is Karma's consistency and teamwork proved to be the difference. They shut down multiple runs by Just Get It Over and kept their composure to secure a 2-0 victory, officially capping off their undefeated season and taking home the championship title.
Huge congrats to My Kill Is Karma for a flawless season, and shoutout to Just Get It Over for an impressive playoff run! Thanks to everyone who played this season — we’ll see you back out on the court soon!
