Thursday night at Nitty’s was full of bags, laughs, and a little bit of drama as our Cornhole League playoffs went down! The boards were hot and the competition even hotter as teams battled their way through the bracket for the Thursday crown.
The night kicked off with the Quarterfinals, where Frodo Baggin-Hole came out swinging and knocked out Cornstar$ in a clean 3-0 sweep. On the other side, Slightly Baggy took care of business against Bag Company, moving on with a solid 3-1 win. That set the stage for some big-time semifinal showdowns.
Top seed MNMS showed why they held the #1 spot all season, but Frodo Baggin-Hole wasn’t going down without a fight. After a nail-biting series, MNMS squeaked out the 3-2 win. Meanwhile, Slightly Baggy proved they were a force to be reckoned with, upsetting #2 seed The UniCorns in a tight 3-2 battle to punch their ticket to the finals.
The championship match brought all the energy, and the crowd at Nitty’s was loving every toss. In the end, it was Slightly Baggy who rose to the occasion, knocking off the #1 seed MNMS with a 3-1 victory to claim the Thursday Night title! 🎉
Congrats to Slightly Baggy on taking home the bragging rights, and a huge shoutout to all the teams who made this Thursday season a blast. Bags were thrown, drinks were raised, and we can’t wait to see everyone back at Nitty’s for more!
