Swamp Donkeys Finish off Perfect Season with Victory in Championship
Swamp Donkeys Hold off The Hit Squad 5-4 to Clinch Title

The Swamp Donkeys followed up their perfect 8-0 regular season in a tight back and forward contest that saw them hold on in a classic 5-4 victory versus the second place Hit Squad in the championship game.

Coming off of a dominant 10-0 performance against the Baja Blasterz in their semifinal match, the Swamp Donkeys combined quality pitching, great fielding, and timely hitting to push their squad to victory in the title game and clinch an undefeated season. All season the Donkeys were a force of nature out on the diamond, putting up an incredible +81 run differential. Their championship victory was their sole win decided by less than 3 runs all season.

The Hit Squad put up a valiant performance, falling just a single run short in an intense title game, but were once again bested by the Swamp Donkeys after previously falling 7-4 against them in the first game in the season.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
