“Spikeasourus rex” are the Thursday Intermediate Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘24 Season, after defeating “Block Party” 2-0!
“Spikeasourus rex” came into the playoffs as the #1 seed and as the heavy favorite to take home the title but they had to defeat a very formidable “Block Party” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Spikeasourus rex” came out on fire in the first set and did not allow “Block Party” to get anything going. “Spikeasourus rex” won the first game 21-16 because of their impressive serves and amazing team work. “Spikeasourus rex” also took an early lead in the second match and they never looked back from there. “Spikeasourus rex” won the second set 21-12 and became the champions of Thursday Volleyball by performing bump, set and spike to perfection!
Congratulations to “Spikeasourus rex” on becoming the Thursday Intermediate Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘24 season!
