Pachanga's Strong Season Ends Season Without A Loss

"FC Pachanga" is our Thursday Night Soccer League champion after back-to-back wins in the playoffs.

In the first game of the playoffs "FC Pachanga" cast aside the "Stout Strikers" by the score of 4-0. Their offense was too much for "Stout Strikers" to handle with their defense performing equally well, not allowing a goal en route to a shutout.

The second game in the bracket was between the evenly matches "Sheer Gold" and "The Big Green." Sheer Gold" was just unable to get over the hump and defeat them despite being the better team throughout the season entering the night as the second-best team. Unfortunately for them, sometimes teams just don't match up well against specific opponents. Oddly enough the 3-1 scoreline was identical to a win earlier in the season against this same team for "The Big Green."

With our championship set we had two teams coming into the game with a ton of confidence. Neither wanted to give much ground to the other, but by the end of the game it was FC Pachanga who took the most in a narrow 2-1 win. Throughout the season they looked unbeatable, even in the finals, despite tough opponents. In the end that proved to be the case once again, as they finished the season without a loss. Their overall record was six wins, four draws, zero losses, and best of all, the championship.

Congrats once again to "FC Pachanga" on a terrific season, and we look forward to their continued excellence next season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
